Got My First Microsoft SE II Frontend Interview (Hyderabad) – What to Expect?
I just got my first Microsoft Software Engineer II Frontend interview for the Hyderabad location, and I’m looking for insights from anyone who has recently gone through the process. If you’ve interviewed for this role recently, I’d love to know: * What was the structure of your interviews? * What kind of DSA questions were asked? (Leetcode medium/hard?) * Any system design or frontend system...

What made you walk out of an interview?
I was being interviewed for a Business Analyst position and the interview was already strange. They had me waiting for 40 minutes and then the interview was done by two people. One asked, "If I could be any animal, what would it be?" Now, I believed this to be an extremely odd question for such a role, and I responded that I wasn't sure how...

Starting my Leetcode Journey today
Starting my LeetCode journey today. Just wanted to share—I tried job searching before (frontend) but failed miserably in all aspects. I got only one interview, and it turned out to be a fake set up by some guys who just wanted to make fun of someone for entertainment. I'm 25 years old, in debt, with no job, no portfolio, and no experience besides freelance work...
Working for less salary after layoff- front end developer. Totally dissapointed and feeling worthless.
Any one faced this situation? 2017-24 i worked for a company which gave me 20% every year and work was very " comfortable". 2024 got laidoff! Even after studying and mentorship failed multiple interviews and got dissapointed. Ended up accepting an offer which is much much lesser than the previous one! I just want to know any one else went through the same situation in...

Typescript only popular on Reddit? Am I in an echo chamber?
I am very pro TypeScript. Finding out errors during dev and having build time checking to prevent errors going to production. Won’t stop logical errors, but a lot of dumb ones that will crash your application. Improves error handling. This is assuming you actually run TSC at build time. You’d be surprised many don’t, thus all TS errors going to production. Doing several interviews for...
It's Official: frontend with 4 years of experience can't code a to-do app
I'm screwed. tried to build a to-do app from scratch and completely blanked. couldn't even figure out the complete/incomplete checkbox. syntax errors everywhere. been leaning on AI way too much since 2022. used to at least tweak things like filters, but now the AI's so good I hardly change anything. If I get fired im done. I'll fail every technical interview. thanks AI
